Strange Birds ....

Just observed three strange birds flying around our area. Looks they might be either Red-tailed Hawks, or Swainson’s Hawks. The blue jays were swooping around Thomas (Frank’s cat) this morning. He batted at one of them, but missed. Thomas was creeping around in the long grass by the street. Maybe he smells more gophers ... ???

Couldn't Sleep ....

I couldn't sleep past around 10:00. Got up about midnight to get something to eat and drink. Listening to Carman, "30 Classic Hymns." I'll try to sleep a couple hours, then get up and get ready to ride over to the new house and start working on the new flower beds. Hopefully I can make at least two winter plantings.

HD Bit the Dust - Should Have Backed Up Everything!

I'm getting back to keepin an online journal, minus things that are just too personal to keep on the Internet! My main hard drive bit the dust (accidentally dropped it!), and I hadn't been backing up my important files for about 18 months or two years ... Very bad practice indeed!
